Attorney Richard Gaxiola

Managing Partner

Richard Gaxiola, managing partner of Alex & Gaxiola, P.C., has practiced law for eight years since graduating from the University of Arizona. Immediately following law school, Richard worked as a successful criminal trial attorney where he represented hundreds of clients.

In 2003, Richard joined the present firm of Alex & Gaxiola, P.C., making an immediate contribution to the firm. His trial experience and motion practice has been an important contribution to the firm. As a result, the firm has strengthened its reputation for bringing in successful verdicts and awards for clients.

In his Arizona criminal law practice, Richard has an impressive record of not-guilty verdicts and complete dismissals. He has successfully represented clients in large drug cases, aggravated assaults and homicides. Most of these criminal cases are a result of referrals from previous clients and other attorneys that recognize his stature in these areas.

In personal injury cases, Richard was quickly recognized as an aggressive advocate for his clients in car accidents, motorcycle accidents, 18-wheeler accidents, construction injuries, pedestrian injuries and dog bites injuries cases, among types of personal injury cases.

Richard is an active member of the Arizona State Bar, the American Association for Justice (AAJ), and the Arizona Attorneys for Criminal Justice (AACJ). Additionally, he frequently volunteers with several non-profit community associations.

When he is not representing clients, Richard enjoys hiking and the outdoors and is an avid runner. He has completed several marathons and is currently in training for his fourth.
